‘Ergo Chair’ Gives Traverse Best Seat in the House

General Motors assembly team member LeAnn Franke uses the "Ergo Chair" while connecting wire harnesses to a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at GM's Lansing Delta Township Assembly Plant in Lansing, Michigan. GM's manufacturing engineers developed the "Ergo Chair" that carries a team member into the vehicle using a robotic arm at the optimum position to perform each operation necessary for vehicle assembly. The "Ergo Chair" is operated with precision by each worker's body movements. (Photo by John F. Martin for Chevrolet)
