The 2008 HUMMER H2 was redesigned with a more refined interior that combines luxury with HUMMER’s legendary ruggedness, enhanced safety features and a more powerful engine. The H2’s new luxury interior includes a redesigned instrument panel, new seats – including a full third-row seat for two passengers– new door trim panels, new controls and a new rear-seat heating/air conditioning system.
The 2008 H3 Alpha broadens HUMMER’s range of versatile, do-anything and go-anywhere vehicles. It is the second member of HUMMER’s exclusive Alpha series and comes with a new, 5.3L V-8 engine that delivers 300 horsepower. For customers who want a more accessorized appearance straight from the factory, the Alpha model can be combined with the H3 X content, which includes bright roof crossbows; chrome fuel door; a body color grille and unique spare tire cover; special tires, wheels and center cap; and a brush guard.
HUMMER Accessories offers an exclusive line of GM-designed, manufactured and validated accessories that are engineered and tested for no-compromises fit, finish and performance.

Rear-seat DVD entertainment system – Pamper rear-seat passengers with a headrest-mounted DVD rear-seat entertainment system, available on the H2 SUV and SUT, that features two, seven-inch color monitors with integrated top-loading DVD/CD/MP3 players, two wireless headphones and one remote control.
Tow hooks – Attractive chrome tow hooks for the H2 SUV and SUT add bright accents to the front bumper while retaining full functionality.
Off-road roof-mounted lamp package – Nothing says “rugged” like these roof-mounted lights that better illuminate off-road terrain – and they look good, too. They’re available on H2 SUV and SUT.
Performance cat-back exhaust system – This dual-outlet, cat-back exhaust system is constructed of mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel tubing with semi-polished mufflers, and offers two distinctive sounds that meet all federal decibel laws. Choose the touring (throaty purr) or the performance (aggressive growl) system. Finish with one of three available polished tips embossed with the H2 logo. When properly installed, this system complies with local and state ordinances.
Interior trim kit – Change the look of the H2 SUV interior with these six-piece, custom-fit trim kits available in Argentinium and Burlwood. The kit includes center stack trim, center console trim and left and right HVAC outlet trim.

HUMMER’s smaller but equally capable off-road family member also can be personalized with several available products.
Brush grille guard – Made with a combination of formed and tubular steel, this grille guard helps protect the front area against damage from branches, undergrowth and other things encountered while off-roading. Available in chrome or black.
Tubular assist steps – Frame-mounted, rough-textured step pads and a strong tubular frame design help make it easier to get in and out of the H3 or to reach items on the roof. These steps are offered in black or chromed stainless steel.
HUMMER Accessories also offers a variety of tool kits that cater to safety, convenience and appearance, including:
- HUMMER emergency / tool kit contains first aid kit, flashlight, tire pressure gauge and Leatherman Multi Tool.
- HUMMER adventure kit contains two walkie-talkies that operate within a seven-mile range, binoculars, lighter, flashlight, compass and tire deflators.
- HUMMER vehicle care kit contains GM-branded and approved finish enhancer, glass cleaner, cleaner wax and polishing cloth.
