Here are key accessories offered for the 2008 GMC Sierra pickup truck and Acadia crossover SUV:
Sierra
The full-size Sierra’s bold styling and workhorse reputation are enhanced with a variety of accessories that are as stylish as they are durable.
20-inch wheels – Six different styles of 20-inch General Motors-validated chrome and polished accessory wheels and TPC tire systems are available with matching center caps and lug nuts.
Chrome and black tubular assist steps – Step in and out of Sierra in style and ease with these steps, made of high-strength stainless steel and featuring traction-gripping step pads on the top surfaces.
Bedliner – below the rail – Fully-ribbed construction of this bedliner helps protect the Sierra bed. It extends under the bed rails and allows air flow, which helps eliminate trapped moisture, and the co-polymer, skid-resistant floor minimizes load shifting. Tailgate liner is included.
Hard tonneau cover – Secure cargo under this lockable, lightweight, molded-composite hard tonneau cover (late availability). Designed to complement the Sierra’s style, the cover, available in select body colors, features struts for easy opening and closing and a quick-release mechanism for easy removal.
Cargo management – The Sierra has an innovative cargo management rail system (available as a factory option, or a dealer-installed accessory). Three rails run the length of the bed sides and behind the cab and incorporate upper and lower tracks. These rails enable the use of a variety of accessory products including:
- Overhead utility rack
- Sliding diamond-patterned toolbox with codeable lock technology
- Sliding bed divider
- Side storage boxes with codeable lock technology
Acadia
The Acadia crossover SUV packs GMC capability into a package that features car-like ride and handling. Tailor the Acadia with these accessories:
19-inch wheels – Available in six- and 10-spoke designs, these cast wheels feature a lustrous, durable chrome finish. All designs are available with a choice of matching GMC logo center caps and chrome lug nuts.
Remote start – By pressing a button on the key fob, the remote start system starts the Acadia from about 200 feet away. Seamlessly integrated with the anti-theft and remote keyless entry systems, it’s especially handy in bad weather or when the driver’s hands are too full to unlock the door.
Assist steps – These stylish assist steps constructed of high-strength stainless steel make it easier to get in and out of the Acadia . These chrome steps are topped with full-length ebony traction pads.
Portable overhead DVD system – Give rear-seat passengers access to their own entertainment with an overhead DVD system featuring a portable DVD player that plugs into the docking station and is easily removable for use outside the vehicle. It includes two wireless headphones and a remote control. It’s available third quarter 2007 only for vehicles equipped with a sunroof.
Cargo tray – Maintain a consistent floor-covering style throughout the Acadia with this one-piece cargo tray that covers the hidden storage in the cargo area. Designed to match the premium all-weather floor mats and cargo area mat behind the third row, this convenient mat is available in black.
