MP3 Player / iPod

GM radios with MP3 capability allows audio player devices with downloaded music to be played through the radio via a simple plug-in jack. MP3 is a digital format such as that downloaded onto iPods and other similar devices. Digital audio players typically offer tremendous storage capability, allowing the user to play a large selection of personalized music through a GM radio.

How it works

GM radios with MP3 compatibility are equipped with a plug-in jack. The user simply plugs an audio player into the jack and the stored MP3 files can be heard through the vehicle’s speakers.
