CHEVROLET TAHOE AND GMC YUKON HYBRID: SAFETY AND WARRANTY

The safety performance of the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon hybrid builds upon the already strong foundation provided by the standard Tahoe and Yukon gasoline-only models and the excellent ride, handling and braking qualities of the GM full-size truck architecture. Like all General Motors vehicles, these SUVs are designed with a high level of safety and security, with protection before, during and after a crash.

Owners of a Tahoe or Yukon hybrid will have the peace of mind afforded by 360-degree crash protection and designed-in safety and crash protection for all high-voltage components, in addition to customer, first responder and GM Service Personnel high-voltage safety protection.

Standard safety features include StabiliTrak electronic stability control; dual-stage frontal air bags; head curtain side-impact air bags (rollover-enabled); front seat belt pretensioners; vehicle-to-vehicle compatibility brackets on the front frame rails and the OnStar safety and security system.

The OnStar service included with the Tahoe and Yukon Hybrids includes a one-year subscription to the Directions & Connections package, which includes Turn-by-Turn Navigation as well as the services of OnStar’s Safe & Sound package, which sends a signal to an OnStar advisor in many crashes, as well as remote door unlock, stolen vehicle recovery and other emergency support services.

All models earned the federal government’s highest possible ratings in frontal and side-impact crash tests – five stars.

All hybrid components are warranted for eight years/100,000 miles.
