General Motors North America
General Motors North America (GMNA) designs, manufactures
and markets vehicles in the United States, Canada
and Mexico. General Motors Corporation, excluding
its Financing and Insurance Operations, has 182 locations
operating in 33 states and 106 cities in the United
States. In addition, GM of Canada operates 21 locations
and GM de Mexico operates 3 locations.
Of these locations, 31 are vehicle assembly plants.
The rest are powertrain and metal fabrication plants,
parts warehousing or office facilities. GM cars and
trucks are marketed in North America under the Cadillac,
Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Chevrolet, GMC, Saturn,
Saab and Hummer brands. Automotive related products
and services are marketed under the OnStar, ACDelco
and GM Goodwrench brands. Other non-automotive businesses
include GMAC Financial Services, Hughes Electronics,
Allison Transmission and Electro-Motive.
