As the Product Director for Cadillac, Hampden leads the product planning and execution activities for the Brand. He and his team work closely with the Product Development teams to deliver leading vehicles for Cadillac. A native of Westfield, New Jersey, Tener holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University, and master of engineering and MBA degrees from Stanford University.
Global Marketing Director of Cadillac
Jim Vurpillat was named Global Marketing Director for Cadillac effective April 1, 2004. In his current role, Jim is responsible for all aspects of marketing. He is also responsible for the growth and development of the Cadillac brand on a global basis including China, Russia and the Middle East. Vurpillat has a bachelor-of-science degree in marketing and an MBA in business from the University of Dayton, Ohio. He is a native of Flossmoor, Illinois, a Chicago suburb.
Cadillac XTS Chief Engineer
Sheri has progressed through a number of assignments, serving as a designing engineer in Chassis Systems and integration engineer in Noise & Vibration and Vehicle Dynamics. Sheri holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kettering University, master’s degree in engineering from Purdue University, and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business.
Cadillac XTS Lead Development Engineer
As lead development engineer, Bill leads the Vehicle Performance area for the XTS concentrating on Vehicle Dynamics, Noise & Vibration Control, and Overall Vehicle Driveability. A native of Grand Blanc Michigan, Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute (Kettering University) and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Michigan.
Cadillac XTS Vehicle Line Director
Merchant joined GM in 1978 while she was a college co-op engineering student, and joined the company full time in 1981. She has worked in numerous manufacturing engineering capacities during her tenure. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from University of Detroit-Mercy.
CUE Program Manager
At his current position, Jeff is responsible for leading the engineering program management activities for Cadillac’s CUE. As an experienced electrical engineer, Jeff has led work globally for GM in the area of center-stack faceplates. Jeff has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and an MBA; all from the University of Michigan.
CUE Engineering Manager
Mike is responsible for CUE's User Interface Design. He also managed the hardware and software architecture design while CUE was in early development. Mike holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from Oakland University.
CUE Design Manager
Stuart is responsible for the visual design, interactions, and brand-specific identity of gauge clusters and infotainment systems. After graduating from London’s Coventry University Transportation Design program, he accepted a job with MGA where he worked on projects for Rolls Royce and Bentley. Stuart worked for Jaguar before working for Cadillac.
Cadillac Lead Designer
Christine sketched the winning theme for the interior of the Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept in 2010. Since sketching the XTS Concept interior, she has supported the design team bringing the XTS to production. In 2011, she worked on the Cadillac Ciel Concept which debuted at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Park studied automotive design at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and received her bachelor of science degree in transportation design in 2006.
