Christopher J. Perry
Chevrolet Marketing Vice President
Chris Perry is the Chevrolet Marketing Vice President. Prior to joining Chevrolet in August 2010, Perry served as vice president, marketing for Hyundai Motor America.
Perry is a 25-year marketing veteran, with more than 20 years dedicated to the automotive industry. His career spans agency, research consulting and in-house experience working for major international automakers. Perry’s expertise includes strategic planning, creative development, media strategy and planning for general market, multicultural, interactive and dealer advertising, and integration across all communication disciplines.
Perry joined Hyundai in 2000 as head of brand planning. While with Hyundai, he led more than a dozen new model introductions, and developed and produced the “Hyundai Assurance” program which led to the 2009 Advertising Age “Marketer of the Year” honors.
Prior to joining Hyundai, Perry spent nearly a decade at American Isuzu Motors where he was involved in strategic planning and advertising. He also worked for creative agency, Della Femina, McNamee, and in research consulting with Diagnostic Research.
Perry earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from California State University Northridge. He is married with and two children and lives in the Detroit area.
Chief Engineer, Cruze
As chief engineer, Altman oversees the development of a number of global compact car programs with responsibility of the complete program management from engineering to finance. He and his team are bringing the only domestic diesel passenger car to the United States with the Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel.
When he has some down time, Altman enjoys riding motorcycles, cooking and honing his ear for top quality digital music.
Altman received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kettering University in Flint, Mich.
Originally from Detroit, Altman now calls Washington, Mich. his home.
Michael E. Siegrist
Assistant Chief Engineer, Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel
Siegrist is assistant chief engineer for the Chevrolet Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel engine with overall responsibility for the engine development – from its design to final assembly.
When he’s not jet-setting for business, he’s piloting private jets. Siegrist also coaches high school ice hockey.
Siegrist graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology) with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering.
Siegrist grew up in Florissant, Mo., but now resides in Rochester Hills, Mich., with his wife of 25 years and two children.

Product marketing director, Small and Electrified Vehicles
Landy is the product marketing director for Chevrolet’s small car and electrified vehicle line-up, including Volt, Cruze Diesel, Sonic and the all-new Spark EV. Throughout her career, she has held a variety of positions in engineering, marketing, program management and portfolio planning. Landy joined Chevrolet in 2002 as the Corvette marketing manager. She led the 50th Anniversary Event that was attended by more than 18,000 Corvette enthusiasts.
Landy is an active volunteer for the SAE sponsored “A World in Motion” program in the Detroit Public Schools that teaches young students about engineering.
Landy has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
She is married and the mother of twin boys.

Vehicle Performance Manager, Small Cars
Tavel manages the group responsible for the overall vehicle integration for Chevrolet’s Spark, Sonic and Cruze. This encompasses everything from how the car sounds, rides and handles to how fuel efficient it is. “It is my job to give the car character,” according to Tavel. Previously, he was lead development engineer for the Cruze and Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel.
Tavel loves his job, but he also enjoys racing his own vehicles and has two currently in his shop. Additionally, he has behind-the-scenes racing experience as an engineer for vehicles in the Trans-Am Road Racing and Rolex Sports Car series.
He earned his Masters of Engineering degree in automotive systems from the University of Michigan, Dearborn.
Growing up around New York City, Tavel now lives in Beverly Hills, Mich.
Marketing Manager, Cruze and Spark
Caruso serves as Chevrolet marketing manager for Cruze, the company’s best-selling passenger car, and the new Spark mini-car helping to ensure sales growth and increased market share. Caruso has a long history with Chevrolet with positions in advertising and promotions, sales, service, and marketing.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in automotive management from Ferris State University and a Master of Business Administration in marketing from the University of Phoenix.
In his spare time, Caruso enjoys playing golf and hockey, and spending time with family and friends. He can also be found waterskiing and boating.
Originally from Livonia, Mich., Caruso now resides in Novi, Mich., with his wife and three children.
