Robyn Henderson

Manager, Internal Communications, General Motors

Robyn is manager of internal communications at General Motors. She and her team handle strategic and day-to-day editorial content for multiple channels serving the global workforce of more than 200,000 employees. Some of the channels including a daily email newsletter that reaches 80,000 in the U.S., and an internal social network comprised of 50,000 global employees. She also owns the internal communication plan for the CEO and is currently in the midst of coordinating a global internal communications assessment.

In her 13 years at GM, she has executed the PR launch for a new Cadillac vehicle, supported a Chevrolet vehicle launch in Europe, pioneered social media outreach in GM’s groundbreaking social media team, and spent several years supporting manufacturing and labor, where she learned how to make complex issues simple and compelling. She has a masters’ of arts in Organizational Management and is the mother of a third grader and a June baby.
