Assistant Manager, Chevy Communications
Monte Doran has worked with GM since 2005, and is currently the Communications Manager for two of the most iconic vehicles in the automotive industry: Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette. In that role, Doran is responsible for developing and executing the introductions of the all-new 2014 Corvette Stingray, the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1, and the track-focused Camaro Z/28.
Previously, Doran supported GM through a variety of agency assignments, including News Bureau editorial development, auto-show and event support, and consumer-marketing initiatives.
Prior to GM, Doran worked with Ford Motor Company product communications, supporting the launch of the Ford GT, and the SVT Mustang Cobra.
Doran started his career working on the editorial side of communications, as the Road Test Coordinator at Automobile Magazine.
Outside of the automotive industry, Doran has worked with a variety of clients, including; media relations and corporate-sustainability reporting for the world’s leading cell-phone recycling company; marketing and branding support for an environmental political action committee; and experiential marketing support for a pioneer in the direct-marketing (AKA – infomercial) industry.
