3M Global Innovation Communications
As head of Innovation Communications at 3M, Glenn Carter leads integrated marketing communications initiatives to enhance core brand awareness/relevance among target audiences, with particular emphasis on millennial consumers.
For the past three years, his work has focused on the innovation positioning of 3M's corporate brand. Prior to this assignment, Glenn led public relations programs for 3M's consumer and health care businesses. Before joining 3M in 2001, his career as a communications professional included executive communications at General Motors, public affairs at The Charles Dana Foundation, agency work in investor relations, and publicity roles in media organizations such as NBC and FOX. Glenn is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and holds a Master's Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
