JOHANNESBURG – April sales results released by NAAMSA show an overall total market of 40 390 for the month, a decline of 9.2% versus April 2015.

JOHANNESBURG – Total industry sales for February totaled 48 149 units as reported by NAAMSA. 05 May 2015 – April NAAMSA new vehicles sales showed a decrease of 10 913 units vs March 2015. Total industry volume was 44 503 units, down 3.3 percent vs April 2014. The main factor behind the significantly lower sales this April was the number of public holidays.

Queenstown - Seventeen cyclists who endured a gruelling nine days on the road for the 1965 Ride and backed by three support crew, received a hero’s welcome when they peddled into Queen’s College in Queenstown on Thursday.
On 8th April, 15 amateur cyclists left Heidelberg just south of Johannesburg, to undertake the fifth 1965Ride - a nine day, 850km epic road cycle to raise funds for education in the poverty stricken town of Queenstown, Eastern Cape. The ride will culminate on the 16th of April at Queenstown College, where learners from 5 surrounding schools will be waiting to welcome the cyclists home.

PORT ELIZABETH - Vehicle sales figures for November, as released by the Department of Trade and Industry today, reflect a continued tail-off in demand for new vehicles as the year end approaches. Total vehicle sales reported for the month were 50 806 with 34 267 of those being passenger vehicles and 13 719 light commercial vehicles.
Monthly vehicle sales statistics for October, released by the Department of Trade and Industry today, show a continued loss in momentum in vehicle sales after four years of positive growth. Year-on-year sales do however remain in the black with 2013 still set to be a growth year for the South African motor industry.

New vehicle sales figures released by the Department of Trade and Industry today indicate a market that was impacted by a short selling month and reduced inventory in the wake of industrial action within the automotive sector.
