Terry Inch currently serves as executive director of Global GCCX Operations and GMNA Contact Centers at OnStar, the leading provider of connected safety and security solutions, value-added mobility services and advanced information technology. In this role he oversees both the future strategy and current operations of the business. His core passion is reflected in his commitment to ensuring the highest quality customer experience for the company’s seven million global subscribers. It has been this ongoing interest in the voice of the customer which has fueled him throughout his career.
Inch joined OnStar in 2002, and has held several positions during his tenure. Prior to his current role, Inch was the vice president of OnStar Marketing and New Business Development. He also served as director of OnStar Service Delivery Operations, where he oversaw the customer care and support for OnStar’s millions of subscribers, managing the company’s four call center locations and more than 2,000 OnStar advisors.
Prior to joining OnStar, Inch was director of Service Center Operations at H&R Block, where he was responsible for customer service and technical support for over 9,000 H&R Block offices, 18 million clients and two million financial customers.
Before H&R Block, Inch worked for Sprint Communications from 1984 until 2001, where he advanced to the position of assistant vice president, Broadband Sales. Some responsibilities at Sprint included development of sales and marketing strategies, budget development and management, staffing, training and public relations.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising/public relations from Michigan State University and a master’s degree from Central Michigan University.
