A highly green and environmentally friendly plant. We continue to be land fill free and recycle 90% of our waste, with the rest going to waste energy. The campus is powered in part by 1.81 megawatts of rooftop solar arrays, generating about 6 percent of our annual energy consumption. The facility also supports community-based organizations committee to advancing environmental awareness and education. Employees mentor local students in watershed quality and improvement projects and a certified Wildlife Habitat resides on plant property promoting Maryland native flora and fauna.
