GM Opens Fourth IT Innovations Center in Chandler, Arizona

Elected officials and business leaders help General Motors Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Randy Mott (fourth from left) cut the ribbon to officially open the fourth GM Information Technology innovation center Friday, August 22, 2014, in Chandler, Arizona. GM expects to hire 1,000 employees at the Chandler facility over the next two years as part of the company's ongoing makeover of IT operations, including in-sourcing 9,000 salaried employees globally as part of the transformation.
