Roger McCormack was named director, Buick Product Marketing in April 2010. In that role he is responsible for brand marketing strategy and product planning for all Buick models, including the 2010 Buick LaCrosse and 2011 Regal. He will oversee the expansion of the Buick portfolio over the next few years, with the addition of a premium compact sedan and compact crossover.
McCormack had most recently been U.S. vehicle marketing director for Cadillac since November 2008. He joined GM in 1989 as a field manager for Chevrolet Motor Division based in St. Louis, Missouri. He has held numerous leadership positions in product development, marketing, and market analysis. In his role as U.S. Vehicle marketing director for Cadillac he was also responsible for HUMMER and Saab, handling strategic and tactical marketing, product, pricing and incentive initiatives for all three brands. Prior to that assignment he was the marketing director for Saab USA.
McCormack has bachelor’s degree in marketing from Michigan State University and an MBA from Oakland University.
