TORONTO (Wednesday, November 27, 2013) – Chevrolet was honoured today with the recognition of two of its most iconic vehicles, the Impala and Corvette Stingray, as “Car of the Year” in their respective categories by Auto123.com. The all-new Chevrolet Impala was named the “2014 Full-Size Car of the Year” and the Corvette Stingray the “2014 Sports Car of the Year.”
“We thank the Auto123.com team for their recognition of these two truly iconic Chevrolets,” said Kevin Williams, president and managing director, General Motors of Canada. “Both the Impala and Corvette Stingray are redefining their individual segments and the Chevrolet portfolio, while fulfilling our promise to deliver more than expected to our customers.”
The Auto123.com Awards consist of a judging panel of voting journalists cumulating their scores in each of the 20 vehicle categories. These were the 5th annual awards presented in Toronto, Ontario.
