Fact file: Chevrolet Epica
Plenty of class at an economical price
- Segment: mid-size
- In the model range since: 2006
- Units sold in Europe until end of 2009: 35,000
The Epica drives Chevrolet's value-for-money policy to the extreme. The 4.81-meter-long sedan offers the space and drive comfort of the upper medium class but at a much lower price. With its sporty and stylish contours, the Epica conforms exactly to the present-day taste of Europe's car drivers. The same can be said of the engine range, which, in addition to two transversally installed straight-six gasoline units, also includes a modern 150 hp diesel. Chevrolet's dedication to refinement is further illustrated with the six-speed automatic gearbox. It can be mated to all three engines, offers a wide overall gear ratio and further improves the performance and fuel efficiency of the top-of-the-line sedan.
More refinement can be found in the interior of Chevrolet's top sedan. Upgraded materials are used to improve the look and feel of the instrument panel and center console. The Epica features a CD changer with USB and Bluetooth connection as standard equipment. The optional navigation system includes a full map of Europe.
