Renato Bibo has lead the Chevrolet Europe Quality and Reliability organization since February 1, 2011. Prior to this appointment, Bibo was responsible for the Continuous Product Improvement Process for all countries in the Latin America Africa and Middle East (LAAM) region.
Bibo was born in São Caetano Sul, São Paulo, Brazil, on March 24, 1973. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree with specialization in Electronics from the Mauá Engineering College, which he received in 1995. He attended the Methodist University of São Paulo, where he earned a Master of Business Administration degree in 1999.
Bibo began his career with GM in Brazil in the Quality Department, when he was a student trainee in 1995. He devoted the past 16 years to Quality, working on different activities such as Data Management, Internal and External Quality Audits (ISO 9000), Problem Investigation and Problem resolution, Red X Strategies, Recalls and Field Actions (FPE), Product Development Quality and Quality Communications. Over the years, his scope of activities was expanded from Brazil to the whole Latin America Africa and Middle East (LAAM) region.
