Oshawa, Ontario (March 18, 2015) — GM Canada today announced that Peter Cho joined the company as vice president, general counsel. He will also become a member of the GM Canada Board of Directors.
This is a good time for a second Community Update, following my January 28th communication setting out our two year timeline for product and investment decisions in Oshawa. A great deal of positive work has happened since then and I think it’s useful to share some of that information.
Oshawa, Ontario (March 3, 2015) — Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 13,806 vehicles in February 2015, an increase of 6 per cent from February 2014.
DETROIT (Thursday, February 26, 2015) – The GMC Sierra 1500 full-size light-duty pickup, Yukon full-size SUV and Terrain compact SUV ranked highest in their respective segments in the 2015 J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study. The GMC brand gained six spots, moving up to No. 10 overall (in a tie).

Oshawa, Ontario (January 5, 2015) — Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 19,247 vehicles in December 2014, an increase of 13 per cent from December 2013. For 2014, sales were up more than 6 per cent in Canada with Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivering 249,800 vehicles.
DETROIT (Tuesday, December 16, 2014) – GMC Canyon today was named Autoweek’s Best of the Best/Truck for 2015. Editors praised the all-new premium midsize truck for its design, utility, features and “perfect size.”
OSHAWA – Chevrolet today released a holiday message that Facebook and Twitter users can share to brighten their friends’ days while giving back to their communities through United Way. Chevrolet will contribute $1 to United Way for each share and retweet of Chevrolet’s Facebook post and Tweet of the video up to a total of $50,000.
Oshawa, Ontario (December 2, 2014) — Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 19,264 vehicles in November 2014, an increase of 10 per cent from November 2013. Total GM Canada sales are up nearly 6 per cent for the 2014 calendar year.
General Motors Chairman Tim Solso announced today that Erroll Davis Jr. would not be standing for re-election to the GM Board of Directors at the company’s Annual Meeting of Stockholders in 2015. Davis joined the board in 2009.
