Maria Koutsimpiris was appointed Director – Planning & Program Management on 1 January, 2013.
Maria joined GM Holden as a Graduate Engineer in 1999 and worked in numerous roles in the Engine Operations, including Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor.
In 2003, Maria moved into Finance as a Senior Business Analyst developing business cases for future vehicle programs. A year later, transferred into Program Management as a Program Manager, responsible for domestically produced merchandising packs.
In 2006, she moved into Planning holding various Planning Manager roles, including luxury brands, imported passenger cars, SUVs and light commercial vehicles.
In August 2011, Maria took over the role of Technical Advisor to the Managing Director, further expanding her understanding of the business.
Maria holds an honours degree in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne. She has also completed her Masters of Business Administration from the Melbourne Business School. Maria enjoys travelling, theatre, photography and spending time with her husband and two children.
