The First General Motors Quickservice Center Now Open in
Kuwait
Kuwait City, Kuwait – 30 March 2005
– The first General Motors Quickservice facility was opened in
Kuwait by Mohammed Saleh & Reza Yousuf Behbehani Company, GMC’s dealer
in Kuwait.
This recently launched GM Quickservice center sets new
standards for quick, high-quality servicing for GM vehicles. According to Joe
Elenz, General Motors’ aftersales director in the Middle East,
“Providing a Lube, Oil and Filter change at a competitive price in 29
minutes or the next one is free - a totally new concept in the region.”
There are now seven centers open around the region with plans to launch several
more throughout the rest of this year.
This especially-designed and
equipped center is manned by qualified technicians who have been trained to
provide customers quality service within the shortest time possible. Lube, Oil
and Filter replacement – plus a 15 point inspection is offered at a fixed
price for most GM vehicles.
Once a vehicle is logged into the system for
Lube, Oil, and Filter special, the GM Quickservice receptionist presents the
customer with a 29-minute countdown timer, helping them monitor the progress of
the service on the vehicle. The center also offers regular scheduled maintenance
such as the 5,000, 10,000, and 20,000 kilometer services.
Other services
offered at GM Quickservice include wheel alignment and balancing, A/C checks up,
automatic transmission service, engine tune-up, brake and service belt
replacement, wiper blade replacement and car wash facilities.
