Dong-Woo Jang

Dong-Woo Jang was promoted to vice president, personnel, for GM Daewoo Auto & Technology in November 2005. He had served as senior manager of the department since January 2003.

He earlier oversaw personnel affairs, labor-management cooperation and security at Daewoo Precision Industries and Daewoo Motor Co. Jang entered the Planning and Coordination Office of Daewoo in 1979.

Jang was born in Kongju, South Chungcheong, in 1953. He graduated from Kongju High School and the Department of Social Studies Education of Seoul National University.
