Opel Using Fastest Computers in Car Industry
Rüsselsheim. Engineers at Opel's International Technical Development Center (ITDC) have started to work with the first of six new high-performance computers. The "super computers", each with an eight-digit DM price tag, will be used for simulating crash tests and investigating vehicle aerodynamics.   more...

Pre-Production Starts at the World´s Most Modern Car Plant

Rita Forst joins Opel Powertrain GmbH Management Board
Rüsselsheim. At today's meeting the Supervisory Board of Opel Powertrain GmbH appointed Product Development Director Rita Forst (46) as a further member of the company`s Management Board. In addition to Board Chairman Jochen Ohse and Human Resources Director Christian Möller, the Opel Powertrain GmbH Management Board will in future have three members.   more...
