Rüsselsheim. Horst P. Borghs, 53, Executive Director of Public Affairs,
Government and Industry Relations, and a member of the Management
Board of Adam Opel AG since 1989, has asked the company's Supervisory
Boad to release him for personal reasons from his Management Board
responsibilities, effective May 31, 2000. The Supervisory Board acceded

Formula 1 driver Modena completes Opel's team
Ruesselsheim. Ex-Formula 1 driver Stefano Modena has now joined Opel
to complete its DTM team. The 37-year-old Italian from Rome will take
the wheel of one of the eight Opel Astra V8 Coupes that will be on
the starting grid when the first race in the German Touring Car Masters
