ANKENY, Iowa – General Motors announced today that Karl Chevrolet of Ankeny, Iowa, is the nation’s best-selling dealership of GM Certified Used Vehicles. This marks a major milestone for the dealership, earning the top title for the fourth consecutive year.

The GM Certified Used Vehicles Program honors its national sales leader each year. Karl Chevrolet rose to the top for the fourth year in a row, selling 1,418 vehicles in 2009, out-ranking more than 3,433 GM certified dealers throughout the country.

"I truly believe in the strength of the GM Certified program," said Carl Moyer, owner, Karl Chevrolet. "It’s a tool like none other in the industry. It instills pride within our sales department and confidence within the customer. If you’re a dealer that doesn’t believe in this program, I highly recommend you take a closer look."

Since opening in 1978, Karl Chevrolet has also been named the sixth consecutive Dealer of the Year and has earned the Mark of Excellence for nine years in a row.

"Karl Chevrolet continues to prove that dealerships can thrive by offering consumers the best in value and service," said Paul Pejza, manager, GM Certified Used Vehicles. "As the certified used leader in the market, we understand the concerns consumers have when purchasing a used vehicle, so we make the buying experience effortless by providing a 117-point inspection, backed by a 100,000 mile or five-year limited powertrain warranty."
