GM Foundation Helps Karmanos Raise $868,000 for Cancer

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute’s 29^th Annual Dinner chaired by General Motors Chairman and CEO Dan Akerson and his wife, Karin,,raised more than $868,000 for cancer research last weekend. The funds included a $50,000 grant from the General Motors Foundation.
