WHAT IS CAR HEAVEN?

• Partnership between the Clean Air Foundation & various corporate partners, including GM Canada.
  
  
• Car Heaven provides drivers across Canada with $1000 toward the purchase of a new GM car or truck when they send their old vehicle to Car Heaven.
  
  
• The goal of the Car Heaven Program is to accelerate the retirement of older, higher polluting vehicles and switching consumers to more fuel efficient vehicles which will reduce GHG emissions.
  
  
• Launched in July of 2000.
  
  
• Program conducted in Lower Mainland BC, Alberta, Ontario and the Atlantic region with the recent introduction of Quebec and Manitoba.
