The Suburban is a unique, one-of-a kind vehicle that's targeted at and has

NEW FOR 1997:

* Speed-sensitive steering added to reduce low-speed and static steering

* Rear door locks provide lock/unlock switch located on the right-hand

* Safety belt height adjuster (second seat has adjustable D-ring on the

* Enhancements to 4L60-E and 4L80-E electronic automatic transmissions
for
improved operation
* Shorter turn radius on 1/2-ton 4x4 models with 5.7-litre V8 engine
* Quiet engine cooling fan to reduce fan noise and produce a more pleasing
tone when fan drive is in the engaged mode
