PRODUCT OVERVIEW:
Cadillac's Eldorado coupe competes in the mid-range of
the luxury coupe market, with primary buyers executive
or retired men in their mid-50s. The Eldorado's styling
and technology has made it a serious choice among
traditional import luxury buyers.
NEW FOR 1998:
* Memory personalization feature enhancements (driver's
door or all doors unlock when ignition is turned off;
horn sounds when doors locks when RKE is used; and
passenger mirror tilts down when car is in reverse;
perimeter lighting - on/off; parking lamps flash for RKE
lock/unlock; radio "home and away" feature; doors will
not lock with keys in the ignition and any door open)
* StabiliTrak system added to Eldorado as an available
option
* New Cadillac family of radios, including available Radio
Data System (RDS) for FM radio, which shows station call
letters, tuning by program type (eg. country, top 40, news,
etc.), viewing song titles and artist's name, interruption
of CD or cassette play for emergency broadcasts, and
viewing stock quotes, sports scores, directions and
other information
