June 18, 2007 The Chevrolet Volt concept car was displayed at the Energy and Environment Conference (EECO) in Toronto . Brian Swift, Director Environmental Activities for General Motors Canada gave opening remarks, while Nick Zielinski, Vehicle Chief Engineer - Advanced System Integration for General Motors, was on hand to answer questions and give a media briefing. Transportation Minister Donna Canfield was also in attendance. |

June 21, 2007 The Volt was the centerpiece of General Motors of Canada's Green By Design display at Mississauga 's Square One mall. The Volt was accompanied by a Chevrolet Impala and a Pontiac Solstice. |

June 23, 2007 "Let's Go Blue Jays!" was the rallying cry behind this event. The Chevrolet Volt was given the honour of driving out the celebrity responsible for throwing out the first pitch at the Toronto Blue Jays game. The Chevy Volt must have brought good luck, as the Jays emerged triumphant over the Colorado Rockies. |

June 26, 2007 A Media Breakfast has the Chevrolet Volt off to an early start. A series of briefings and showings for journalists and media of Montreal were given at the science centre. Marc Boismenu, Manager of Research and Development at GM Canada was the event spokesperson. June 26, 2007 - July 9, 2007 For two weeks, the Chevrolet Volt was on display at The 28th Annual Montreal Jazz Festival presented by General Motors of Canada. The Volt was displayed in the Complexe Desjardins shopping centre concourse, allowing for thousands of visitors to learn about this amazing technology. |
